Pure Freedom is a sexual risk avoidance program based on the community saturation model, including school-based programs as well as parent and community workshops. The program gives students relevant, medically-accurate, researched-based information so they can make healthy decisions about sex and relationships. Furthermore, the program encourages parents to participate in the program by giving students homework that requires them to ask questions to a trusted adult.
Pure Freedom provides information and resources that any student can benefit from. We aim to empower all students, regardless of age, race, culture, gender, and sexual orientation, to make healthy decisions.
We cover a wide variety of topics, including:
All topics are appropriately tailored to the age group being spoken to.
Parents play the most important role in their child’s intellectual and emotional development. In order to help you better understand your growing teens and connect with them, we offer the following parent workshops:
We encourage all parents to join a community of those wanting to get involved by signing the Sexual Risk Avoidance commitment! You can also read our blog to learn more about healthy relationships and sex, so you can share this information with your children.
