Pure Freedom is a three-day program centered around providing an engaging, informative, and encouraging experience for students to better understand relationships, their bodies, safety, and more. Learn all about the student program here.
Each day will contain interactive activities and visuals to help you stay engaged and learn better. Our presentation will begin with PowerPoint slides to aid the speaker’s talking points and give you something visual to follow along with.
Each day will also leave you with the encouraging message that it is never too late to make changes. No matter what has happened in the past, every day is a new day and our goal is not to “tell you what to do” but to present you with medically-accurate facts and information so that you can make informed decisions for yourself. We want to instill the message that you possess intrinsic value.
The Pure Freedom student program does not share religious, social, or political views with your school. No matter how you identify yourself, you will not be excluded from the program. We are concerned with the emotional and physical health of every student. We hope to help you:
These principles apply to any person, in any relationship. We hope to empower you to make healthy choices for yourself through this program. If you have any questions, check out our Student FAQ page, or feel free to contact us directly.
The information and resources Pure Freedom provides are for any and all students. We want to empower all of you, regardless of age, race, culture, gender, and sexual orientation, to make healthy decisions throughout your life.
Sexual risk avoidance offers a message for optimal health and focuses on avoiding risk, not just reducing risk, empowering you to make healthy choices. The student program offers tangible advice and methods of avoiding all forms of risk, not just physical.
Nope! It’s not just us talking at you. During the program, we’ll ask you questions to fuel group discussion and include games, activities, videos, and more.
Absolutely! We encourage you to ask questions during class or talk with us afterward if they want to talk one-on-one. We also have an anonymous question box, where you can leave any questions or comments you have about any of the topics we discuss that you might feel uncomfortable asking out loud. Our goal is that everyone gets the information they need without feeling embarrassed in front of their peers.
