What is Pure Freedom?

The Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) educational model is a national movement to encourage teens to wait for sex. It stands on the truth that delaying sex until marriage provides men and women with the greatest chance at optimal physical health, successful relationships, and socioeconomic stability. Pure Freedom utilizes this model to help students understand what real love is, how they can create boundaries that protect them and their peers, how to identify abuse, how the human body works, how STDs spread, and ultimately, how beyond valuable they are.

What is our approach?

We are a Sexual Risk Avoidance program. While our curriculum includes medical facts about anatomy, contraception, and STDs, it also focuses greatly on relationships. Teenagers receive information on subjects such as how to distinguish healthy relationships from toxic ones, consent, and self-image. All materials are age-appropriate and parents’ participation in their children’s education is highly encouraged.
